I was born in Uherske Hradiste in April 1989. It was a breakthrough period of the previous communist regime in the Czechoslovakian Republic. In the fall of 1989, the Velvet Revolution happened in Prague, and as the April child, I was full of life.
My father was a welder, and my mom works as a salesperson in a store her entire life. In my childhood, I grew up in the village Borsice, where I attended a primary school. I have excellent memories of this period of life. We lived like a jungle of kids. At that time, I played football for the local club, and I am sure this area is ideal for raising children. It’s very safe, first written mention of Borsice, where the lives of about 2,220 people, is from the year 1220. That means at least 800 years of life. Compared with Canada, life here is more sophisticated, more tangled, with more societal norms that humans must pledge. Mainly because of a traditional-based way of life, as a result of generations living together.
A brief history of the region where I was born
I was born close to a low mountain range located in central southern Moravia. As an area, it is ancient. The first mention of the settlement is 40,000 to 20,000 ago. The first written mention of nowadays villages were from the 13th and 14th centuries whe residents first learned how to write.
The region where I was born is the oldest one, where I used to live.
My view of the region
Looking at the history, I can say that life is well established in this region. It’s different from my perspective than in Canada and other countries where I had the opportunity to live. As I mentioned before, people live here through their gender roots. They are connected with the local culture, and that means following family values. That’s why I think the local environment is excellent for raising kids. Teach us here how to treat a person with respect and humility. That was my biggest weapon when I went abroad. I treat people equally, and that always brought me results into my life. Because this world is about the relationship to self, and our inner balance affects how the outer world looks.
Everywhere I lived, I tried to be myself. I had nothing to lose. And the results always showed up in my life.
Today, I am glad I could have been born in the local region. For me, this is one of the best places to live. Since we need people around us for our development, I have childhood friends here.
I often compare this place to Jasper in Alberta, with low-range mountains. It is a very peaceful and stunning place to live. Local life is vital due to personal relations— as I said traditional, generation to generation way of life. And I use my foreign experience to be a good man of this culture.
About local people
The way of life of the locals is original, and I see many unique, talented and funny people here. Other countries occupy such a small land compared to wild and vast, 126 times bigger Canada. Althought the size of the land somehow influences the thinking of people. In my homeland is a common manner to underestimate themselves or others. If the person turns this thinking in his or her favor, this environment is the best place to improve yourself and live a lavish lifestyle.
The village where I was born is my motivational hub, and this environment gave me the knowledge of my nowadays coaching.
